The New Year Kicks Off with Our Annual Meeting!
Happy New Year! Welcome to 2017 and THANK YOU for all you've done for InfraGardNCR in 2017! I am excited to see you and share with you all of our accomplishments from 2016 at our Annual Meeting January 10th. As you may know, we have changed the nature of this meeting to truly communicate with you and ask for your input to both our activities and priorities. If you have participated in a workgroup, worked on a project with us, or engaged in one of our initiatives this year, I STRONGLY encourage you to attend. This year we have some exciting new awards - please stay tuned and join us! The Annual meeting is also our opportunity to hear form our FBI counterparts about how we can interact and build stronger relationships toward the mission of securing our critical infrastructure. We took a huge step this year by leading National Critical Infrastructure Security & Resilience Month and we will continue this theme throughout the year. We have made GREAT progress with providing tangible ways for the health care sector to interact and share information with their peers and we are working on that for all of our sectors. We've also tackled a number of other challenges identified by FBI ADIC Paul Abbate - like cyber security recruiting, information sharing, and more broadly additional communication and understanding between the FBI and our members. We want to hear from YOU. How do we as an organization help your enterprise this year? What resources could we provide to help you with your challenges? What would you identify as your top priority in security? How should we focus on adding value to YOUR mission? Join us for this important conversation around the direction of InfraGardNCR in 2017. Once again, thank you for all you do. I am honored to work with each of you and appreciate the time and effort you invest in keeping our country safe. In closing, a quote for your year: "It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness." Thank you for being one of our candles. See you next week, Kristina
